At the Races

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today, I can't believe it is Thursday already, this week has flown.

What are you all up too today? 
It is hubby's day off so not sure what we will be doing yet!

Whatever you are planning to do have a wonderful day.

Another card recycling an old calendar, just loved the images in this.


Step by Step

1. A5 white base card.
2. Matted and layered silver pearlescent card and feather patterned paper from Les Beaux Oiseaux.
3. Matted and layered image onto navy blue card.
4. Added lace along the bottom of the card.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment and red pearl gems in the corner.

You brighten my Day!

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all this hump day?

Today I will be recording hopefully a couple of video's for my You Tube channel.
Do you do video's? if so then leave your channel address so I can pop across and visit.

Today a card made using one of my favourite stamps from Stamps by Me.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 white square base card.
2. Stamped Calla Lily and sentiment using Generation INX black in.
3. Placed stamp back over image and using Tim Holtz stencil and DI stormy sky distressed either side of the stamped image.
4. Stamped the Lamination part of the stamp with Generation INX in blue, spritzed with water then stamped over the image for a watercolour effect.
5. Spritzed some water onto excess blue ink and made very light splats around image.
6. To finish off made a bow and added clear gems around image.

Imagine

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

It is Tuesday and that means sharing another project using papers and ephemera from my Etsy store.

In the video below I take you through each of the two paper designs and ephemera.

Today sharing a male card using the Steampunked papers from Emerald City Crafts UK.


Step by Step

1. 7 x 7 square white card from Anna Marie Designs.
2. Matted and layered patterned paper from the Steampunked paper kit.
3. Cut down the ephemera of the balloon and distressed the edges.
4. Stamped the hot air balloon from Sheena Douglass Time Traveller stamp and die set, with Versamark and embossed with Frantage, I then used the corresponding die to cut out, coloured image with DI markers.
5. To finish off cut out the gears from SB Sprockets dies with Kraft card and distressed with ground espresso.

Spread your Wings

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How was your weekend?

We had a busy weekend. I was at a workshop on Saturday and then Sunday Rick and I were invited to our good friends for Sunday lunch which was lovely to catch up.

Today a card using another of Tim Holtz stamps this time Crazy Birds.


Step by Step

1. A6 cream card base.
2. First layer is patterned card from my stash, I distressed around the edges with cracked pistachio before matting and layering onto the base card.
3. The next layer is patterned card which I have used Tim Holtz cracked glass stencil and Gesso. Once dry I distressed with cracked pistachio before cleaning ink off the Gesso then matted and layered to base card.
4. Stamped the crazy bird and coloured with Copics, cut him out and adhered to card.
5. To finish off I stamped the quote using Versafine Spanish moss, embossed with clear embossing powder and distressed with cracked pistachio. I then cut out to small feathers from dies and coloured with Spanish moss.

Wild Flowers

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

How are you all today?

Hubby and I are off to visit friends for Sunday lunch, it will be lovely to catch up on all the news.

What are you doing today, whatever you are doing have a wonderful day.

Another card sharing another stamp by IndigoBlu, this one is called wild flowers.


Step by Step

1. 6 x 6 deckle edged Kraft card base.
2. Matted and layered black and red mirri card to base card.
3. Stamped the Wild Flowers using Memento ink onto wall patterned card from my stash, I coloured the poppies with Ranger distress marker pens.
4. I then stamped the butterfly and flourishes which are from the "Discover your Passion" stamp set in Memento.
5. To finish off I added the sentiment.

Moon Goddess

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

An early start this morning as off to a workshop in Preston run by Maria and meeting up with my crafting friends.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.

Today a card made using the Moon Goddess from The Paper Shelter.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 white square base card.
2. Matted and layered dark purple and lilac pearlescent card, the lilac card has been embossed with Embossalicious regal flourish.
3 Wrapped white organza and satin ribbon around both layers before adhering to base card.
4. Printed the image onto Maker for Colour card and coloured with Copic markers, I then matted and layered onto white doily.
5. To finish off I distressed the sentiment with shaded lilac, added the silver corner and made a double bow with a lilac pearl gem to the centre.

Jayne Nesterenko Fuschia Design

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

I hope that you are all keeping safe and managing to stay warm.

It was a miserable day here yesterday, rain, just happy we haven't had snow yet!

Today a parchment card to share using the wonderful Groovi design by Jayne Nesterenko which can be found over on the Clarity Website
.


Step by Step

1. 8 x 8 square white base card.
2. Matted and layered black and purple card to base.
3. To create the parchment I used the following Groovi Boards, to create the frame I used the Alphabet Picture Frame, added the birthday sentiment.  To create the boarder and centre piece I used Jayne's Fuschia Groovi set. I did some white work and coloured with Tseukeniko marker pens.
4. To finish the piece off I used Pergamano Angle tool around the edges then snipped the excess parchment away.
5. To finish off I adhered the parchment to dark purple card with brads then adhered to base card.
